TMK: 7-9-007:029
LICENSE APPLIED FOR: Original Dispenser General liquor license,
Category B1
Michael Lubrani, Member, was present.
Lubrani: Good morning.
Onizuka: Good morning. Introduce yourself and your relationship to the business.
Lubrani: Michael Lubrani, it's a single -member LLC and I am the Member.
Onizuka: Thank you.
Lubrani: There were two Mikes at one time.
Onizuka: Any changes to the report that was filed?
Lubrani: No, sir.
Onizuka: Can you describe your business, please?
Lubrani: Yes, it would be a full bar with a small restaurant, primarily pupus and lunch.
Onizuka: Do we have any public testimony on this application?
There was no public testimony.
Onizuka: Seeing none, Commissioners, questions, discussion?
Hughes: Was this an existing bar/restaurant before?
Lubrani: It's pretty much turnkey. I had not been to the bar/restaurant before, but
I understand it was a pizzeria, so there's a bar set up in there. All the tables were there.
Some of the kitchen equipment was in there. It's a good opportunity.
Hughes: Yeah, sounds like it.
Salave`a: Can I ask what type of music you're proposing to have?
Lubrani: It's primarily going to be recorded music. I applied for the license for live
entertainment, most likely for special occasions like St. Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo
and those kinds of things. But, it might also cover up our singing in a bar.
Salave`a: Would that also include special events, or bringing in a band?
Lubrani: Not so much a band. I don't know if there's room for a band. It would be a
solo (artist), soft rock.
MARCH 5, 2020 - LIQUOR COMMISSION MINUTES 19
