This increase of one, the first in several days, has been identified as travel <br />related. Individual was infected during a brief visit to California. Individual and family <br />are now quarantined at home and monitored by the Department of Health. <br />The Island and State of Hawaii are doing well in minimizing the spread and impact of <br />this virus. These positive numbers of Hawaii today reinforces the importance of and <br />success of following the policies of distancing, gatherings, cleanliness, face coverings, <br />staying at home if you are sick, and keeping yourself physically and emotionally healthy. <br />Thank you, people of Hawaii for who you are, a community together helping each other <br />during a very difficult time. <br />For your information there are no drive-thru testing or food drop-off scheduled for today. <br /> Thank you for listening and have a safe Sunday. <br />This is your Hawaii County Civil Defense. <br />
