<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: May 30, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 08:30 AM <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />This is a COVID-19 information update for Saturday, May 30th. <br />On today’s report of COVID-19, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii <br />Island remains at 82. All 82 have been cleared as recovered leaving no active cases for <br />Hawaii Island. Thank you for doing your part. <br />These numbers reinforce the importance of following the policies of distancing, <br />gatherings, cleanliness, face coverings, and keeping yourself physically and emotionally <br />healthy. The virus threat remains and we need to continue to get better in following the <br />preventive policies of not spreading the coronavirus. <br />Hawaii has been identified by Johns Hopkins University data as tied with Montana for <br />the lowest per capita infection rate in the Nation. Thank you for doing your part. <br />For your information, a drive-through testing will be held today in South Kohala at <br />Kamakoa Nui Park in Waikoloa Village. Hours are from 9 this morning till 1 this <br />afternoon.
