<br />NexGen. Purchase of the software has been initiated and installation/ <br />implementation is to occur over the next 8 months. Because of EPA’s help (grant), <br />EPA is purchasing the first $137,000 and the county is purchasing the remaining <br />$17,000 of NexGen’s total cost of $154,000. Initial project planning activities are to <br />start mid-January 2020. Project kickoff meetings were held on February 10 and 11, <br />2020. NexGen will now be working on importing current COH data into their <br />database. Expected completion date was April 2020 but due to COVID-29 date has <br />been moved to July 2020. <br /> <br />J. ALTERNATIVE FINANCING/FUNDING <br />WWD is engaging the services of a Grant/Loan Consultant (Dig Deep) to help WWD <br />identify and seek alternative financing sources other than State DOH CWSRF and <br />General Obligation Bonds to help in financing CIP projects such as the Pāhala LCC <br />Closure, Nāālehu LCC Closure, Kealakehe Rʻ-1, etc. <br /> <br />WWD also is exploring public-private partnerships (3P) that will help the county <br />finance some of the CIP projects. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />15 <br />
