2. APPLICANT: DR. BRIAN SUGAI (AMEND REZ 09-000101) <br />Application for a six (6) -year time extension to Condition D (Time to Complete <br />Construction) of Ordinance No. 10 019, which reclassified approximately one (1) acre of <br />land from an Agricultural 1 -acre (A -la) to Neighborhood Commercial -20,000 square feet <br />(CN -20) zoning district. The subject property is located adjacent to the Alenaio drainage <br />channel on the east side of Komohana Street approximately 700 feet south of the <br />Komohana Street-Ponahawai Street intersection, Ponahawai, South Hilo, Hawaii, <br />TMK: (3) 2-3-037:019. <br />3. INITIATOR: PLANNING DIRECTOR <br />An ordinance amending Chapter 25 (Zoning Code), Articles 1 and 5 of the Hawaii <br />County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), relating to primary airports. The purpose <br />of these amendments is to establish a land use called "Primary Airports" by adding a <br />definition, identifying accessory land uses, and adding the land use as a permitted use <br />within the County's Light Industrial (ML) and General Industrial (MG) zoning districts. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS — 9:30 a.m. <br />4. APPLICANT: DIERDRE AND BENJAMIN IMAGIRE (SPP 19-000212) <br />Continued hearing on the application for a Special Permit to allow the development and <br />operation of a chiropractic, acupuncture and massage clinic and related improvements on <br />an approximately one -acre portion of a two -acre property situated in the State Land Use <br />Agricultural District. Public testimony can be submitted by <br />mail or email. Those submitting written testimony by mail should provide fifteen (15) copies for <br />distribution. Public testimony submitted by mail, should be mailed to the Windward Planning <br />Commission at the Planning Department office addresses in Hilo and Kona listed below. Mailed <br />testimony should be provided at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and <br />thorough Commission review.
