CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: June 19, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />Time: 08:30 AM <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br />Update #: 1 <br />This is a COVID-19 information update for Friday, June 19th <br />On today's update of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island, <br />monitored by the Department of Health, is two. Both cases are identified as travel <br />related and emphasize the importance of caution while traveling. At this date, for <br />Hawaii Island, no one is hospitalized. <br />For your information, an 'ohana food service is scheduled today in Puna at the Pahoa <br />Community Center. Distribution will begin at 10:00 this morning. Thank you Hawaii <br />Food Basket and all contributors for providing this service to those in need and to the <br />Hawaii National Guard and County Task Force for helping. <br />The Island of Hawaii is in a good place of minimizing the spread of the Coronavirus. <br />This is due to your efforts and work of prevention. In moving forward, know the <br />importance of continuing to follow the preventive policies of protecting yourself and our <br />community.
