CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: June 22, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />This is a COVID-19 update for Monday, June 22nd <br />Time: 08:30 AM <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br />Update #: 1 <br />On today's update of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island is three. <br />An active case is defined as an individual who has tested positive for the COVID-19 <br />virus and is presently monitored by the Department of Health. At this date no one is <br />hospitalized. <br />For your information, an 'ohana food service is scheduled for today in North Kohala at <br />the Kamehameha Park. Distribution will start at 10:00 this morning. Thank you Hawaii <br />Food Basket and all contributors for making this possible for those in need and to the <br />Hawaii National Guard, State Sherriff's, and County Task Force for helping. <br />The recent new cases in all Counties emphasizes the importance of understanding that <br />the virus threat remains and the importance of continuing to follow the policies of <br />prevention as we go forward. <br />Thank you for listening and thank you for doing your part to keep Hawaii safe. <br />Have a safe day. <br />This is your Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency. <br />
