An <br />active case is defined as an individual who has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and is <br />presently monitored by the Department of Health. At this date no one is hospitalized. <br />For your information, an `ohana food service is scheduled for today in North Kohala at the <br />Kamehameha Park. Distribution will start at 10:00 this morning. Thank you Hawaii Food <br />Basket and all contributors for making this possible for those in need and to the Hawaii National <br />Guard, State Sherriff’s, and County Task Force for helping. <br />The recent new cases in all Counties emphasizes the importance of understanding that the <br />virus threat remains and the importance of continuing to follow the policies of prevention as we <br />go forward. <br />Thank you for listening and thank you for doing your part to keep Hawaii safe. <br />Have a safe day. <br />This is your Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency. <br /> <br /> <br />
