2. The applicant, Par Hawaii, is proposing sign permit for a wall sign for an existing <br /> convenience store located at the Kona Coast Shopping Center, located at TMK 7-4- <br /> 015:001. The sign would read "Nom Nom Express"with proposed maximum letter <br /> height of 7 inches. The area of the sign is 4.97 square feet would be located 88 inches <br /> above grade, measured to the top of the sign. The colors selected for the lettering are <br /> combination of a grey and a maroon color. <br /> Landowner: Queen Liliuokalani Trust <br /> (Lessees: ValueRock Kona Coast LLC, ValueRock Lone Kona Coast <br /> LLC, ValueRock Trabuco Kona Coast LLC) <br /> TMK: (3) 7-4-015:001 <br /> Location: 74-5577 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Next meeting tentatively scheduled for July 21, 2020. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Submitting Testimony Due to the current requirement for online meetings for the Kailua <br /> Village Design Commission due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Planning Department is <br /> requesting the following: That a person desiring to submit written testimony shall <br /> indicate her/his name; address; and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a <br /> representative of an organization or individual. If testimony is being submitted on behalf <br /> of an organization, documentation showing membership ratification should accompany <br /> the testimony. Public testimony can be submitted by mail or email. Those submitting <br /> written testimony by mail should provide eleven ( 11) copies for distribution. Public <br /> testimony submitted by mail, should be mailed to the Kailua Village Design Commission <br /> at the Planning Department office addresses in Hilo and Kona listed below. Mailed <br /> testimony should be received no later than July 2, 2020, to allow for mailing and <br /> thorough Commission review. Public testimony that is submitted by email to <br /> planning@hawaiicounty.gov, should be submitted before 4: 30 p.m. two days prior to the <br /> Commission meeting. <br /> Notice: If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within <br /> five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. <br /> A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends <br /> more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of <br /> attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging <br /> others to communicate with public officials." {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (a) (6), Hawaii <br /> County Code.} <br /> Copies of the applications are on file and open to inspection during office hours at the <br /> Planning Department, Aupuni Center, 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 3, Hilo, Hawai' i and at <br /> the Kona office of the Planning Department, West Hawai'i Civic Center, 74- 5044 Ane <br /> Keohokalole Highway, Building E, 2nd Floor, Kailua-Kona, Hawai' i. <br /> 2 <br />
