CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: July 6, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />Uri IT -3 FINVITITTANTA <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br />Update #: 1 <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Monday, July 6th <br />On today's update of COVID-19, the number of active cases, monitored by the <br />Department of Health, remains at six. An active case is defined as an individual who <br />has tested positive for the Coronavirus and is presently monitored by the Department of <br />Health. <br />The majority of states in our country continue to see an increase of people being <br />infected by the Coronavirus. Hawaii Island remains in a good place and know how <br />important it is for everyone to continue, and even get better, in following the preventive <br />policies of face coverings, distancing, gatherings, and cleanliness. This is a community <br />issue and your help is needed to keep Hawaii safe. Wear your face coverings to keep <br />you and others safe. <br />The County Task Force on prevention remains available, so do call Civil Defense if help <br />is needed. The County's Task Force on disinfection also continues its seven day -a - <br />week schedule. <br />For your information, a drive through testing is scheduled for today in North Kona at the <br />Keauhou Shopping Center. Hours are from 9:00 this morning `til 12:00 Noon.
