<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: July 3, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 08:00 AM <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />rd <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Friday, July 3. <br />On today’s update of COVID-19, the number of active cases monitored by the <br />Department of Health, on Hawaii Island, is three. Of this, one is hospitalized. All three <br />are travel related which emphasizes the importance of caution of traveling. <br />For your information, an `ohana food service is scheduled for today in South Kohala at <br />the Waimea District Park. Distribution begins at 10:00 am. Thank you Hawaii Food <br />Basket and their contributors for providing this service and the Hawaii National Guard, <br />Sherriff’s Department, and County Task Force for helping. <br />As reported, the majority of states in our country continue to see an increase of large <br />numbers of people being infected by the Coronavirus.
