The most recent increase has been identified as travel related. You are
reminded of the need for caution of travel.
It is so very important that everyone continues to follow the preventive policies of face
coverings, distancing, gatherings, and cleanliness. As a reminder, wearing of face coverings is
mandatory on Hawaii Island.
In moving forward, know that the Coronavirus threat remains and we need to get better in
following the prevention measures to keep Hawaii safe. All of these policies have one purpose
– to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
Thank you for listening and thank you for doing your part to keep Hawaii safe.
This is your Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency.
