<br />COVID-19 MODIFIED POOLRULES <br />OPERATING UNDER MODIFIED SCHEDULE <br />CONDITIONS OF FACILITY ENTRY <br /> <br />All persons shall: <br />Not exhibit any of the following symptoms: <br />Fever or chills <br />Nausea or vomiting <br />Diarrhea <br />Cough <br />Congestion or runny nose <br />Muscle or body aches <br />Fatigue <br />New loss of taste or smell <br />Headache <br />Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing <br />Sore throat <br /> <br />Not have open wounds/sores,contagious disease, or active diarrhea within 14 <br />days. <br />Submit to a temporal scan for determination of their body temperature. <br />Not be allowed entry with a body temperature of 100.4°F or higher. <br />Always wear a face mask/covering per CDC guidelines on premises. <br />Provide full name and a contact phone number for recordation by staff. <br />Sanitize hands. <br /> <br />CONDITIONS OF FACILITY USE Compliance is mandatory: <br />6-feet of physical separation from pool staff and other patrons shall ALWAYS be <br />maintained to the maximum extent practicable. <br />Face mask/covering shall ALWAYS be worn except when swimming. <br />Personal items shall only be placed at designated areas. County shall NOT be <br />responsible for the security or loss of such items. <br />All swimmers shall shower at designated location prior to entering pool. Use of <br />shampoo/soap is NOT permitted. <br />Spectator areas/seating and locker rooms are closed/off-limits. <br />Restroom access shall be provided ONLY upon request. <br />Shower use is NOT permitted for post-swim rinsing or bathing. <br />Loitering on pool deck or at entrances/exits is NOT permitted. <br /> <br />SWIMMING POOL USE RULES: <br />Only individual lap swimming is permitted with reasonable accommodations <br />provided for disabled patrons. Team/club use is not allowed. <br />Swimmers must remain in their assigned pool lane. <br />Swimmers must be comfortable swimming in deep water. <br />Swimmers may be accompanied into the facility by not more than one (1) caregiver, <br />parent/guardian or responsible adult <br />Swimmers must exit the water immediately at their designated time and exit the <br />facility in an orderly, purposeful and timely manner. <br /> <br />Penalty provisions: <br />Pursuant to Hawai‘i Revised Statutes Section 127A-29, any person violating <br />these rules shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, fined not more <br />than $5,000 or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both. <br />
