Hawaii Game Management Advisory Commission Meeting <br />Minutes – February 11, 2020 <br /> <br />AA: As far as the going out to the community meetings – that’s something that, <br />you know, I think we talked about before but it – not for make excuses or <br />whatever – but it is – but, you know, this is still one voluntary thing so for find <br />time and even like how do we know when each community meeting is also – I <br />mean we’d have to – I just going speak for myself – I would have to go out <br />and go to my community and see what community event is going on, yeah. <br /> <br />TN: Abraham – ask her to go to the mic so we can hear. This is Teresa – District <br />8. <br /> <br />LL: So what I was saying was that our council members are a good place to kind <br />of get that information. So I can’t speak for all community members but I know <br />that in Keaukaha and at Leleiwi Community Association Sue Lee Loy – who’s <br />our council member – either makes an appearance or sends Peter to those <br />meetings so they’re well aware of when those meetings are taking place and I <br />totally understand that you guys necessarily can’t come to those meetings but <br />perhaps Peter or Sue can provide... <br /> <br />AA: Voice our opinion or support or... <br /> <br />LL: Right, or kind of let the community know what’s happening. I know definitely <br />in a community like Keaukaha coastal issues are really, really important and <br />so that’s directly kind of related to the work that you guys do, so... <br /> <br />AA: I think that was it... Yeah... <br /> <br />LL: OK... <br /> <br />TN: Louisa – Teresa – District 8 – is Kean – representing District 2 – is Keaukaha <br />in District 2? <br /> <br />AA: No that’s 3... <br /> <br />TN: Three... <br /> <br />AA: Keaukaha is District 3. Yeah. That’s O’Keefe’s one and his term is up. <br /> <br /> <br />TN: So Louisa – if you have anybody in your committee that would like to apply for <br />a GMAC position that would be terrific. Would you go online and have <br />someone fill in the application to be part of our GMAC Commission. <br /> <br />LL: I think that’s great information to share with community associations when <br />these positions become available – that’s really important information. <br /> <br />28 <br /> <br /> <br />
