<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: July 22, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 08:00 AM <br />Radio Frequency: Every 2 Hours <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />nd <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Wednesday, July 22. <br />On today’s update of COVID-19, the number of active cases, monitored by the <br />Department of Health, for Hawaii Island remains at seven. Of this, one remains <br />hospitalized. <br />For your information, a drive through testing is scheduled for today in North Kona at the <br />Keauhou Shopping Center. Hours are from 9:00am ‘til noon. Thank you Alii Health <br />Center for providing this service and Hawaii National Guard and the County Task Force <br />for helping. There is also an `Ohana food service today in Puna at the Cooper Center in <br />Volcano Village. Distribution begins at 10:00 in the morning. Thank you Hawaii Food <br />Basket and their contributors for making this possible and the Hawaii National Guard <br />and County Task Force for helping. <br />You can make a difference on Hawaii Island by following the preventive measures of <br />face coverings, distancing, gatherings, and cleanliness. You should also stay at home if <br />you do not feel well to help keep your neighbors, friends and family safe. As a <br />reminder, the wearing of face masks is mandatory on the Island of Hawaii. <br />Thank you for listening and take care of yourself. <br />This is your Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency. <br />
