FVIC <br />CSW members are invited to all FVIC meetings for East and West Hawaii. Farrah <br />attended the July East Hawaii meeting and shared information about Resolution <br />680-20 (that supports and urges equity, inclusion, and social and economic jus- <br />tice principles into COVID-19 related recovery initiatives for Hawaii County) that <br />was heard at the County Council meeting on July 8. Refer to FVIC meeting <br />minutes for more details. <br />West Hawaii meetings have a conflict with our monthly meeting plans, so CSW <br />does not have representation there. <br />IX. OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Teen Dating Violence <br />• Received copies of cell phone safety cards. Printed on the paper we re- <br />quested, which is a different kind of paper compared to the old cards. <br />B. Real Women Essay Contest <br />• Certificates distributed along with gift cards. Book of essays was not done <br />because we are missing some of the student pictures. We will complete <br />the book at a later date when pictures are received, waiting for schools to <br />start up again. <br />C. CSW Brochure <br />• No update on distribution due to no events taking place. <br />• Kami received the brochures that Farrah mailed to her. <br />D. Family Services Directory <br />• No update on distribution due to no events taking place. <br />E. Human Trafficking <br />• Farrah sent an email about a webinar at Kapiolani Community College - <br />impact of COVID on sex trafficking and family violence. See email and <br />flyer for information. <br />F. Equal Pay <br />• This year no activities were launched because of COVID-19. <br />2 <br />
