Travel and conferences - $1,000 <br />Printing - $1,000 <br />Miscellaneous contracts - $3,500 <br />Miscellaneous charges - $3,500. Meals are included in this category. Meal <br />amount would be $200. <br />Farrah suggested one option could be to increase the Real Women Essay con- <br />test budget, Mele opposed. <br />Andrew moved to inform Lisa $1,000 for mileage and $200 for meals for 2020- <br />2021 based on the new budget amounts. Seconded by Mihaela. Motion carried. <br />Action item: Andrew will send a spreadsheet to everyone before next month meeting to <br />discuss the other details of the budget. <br />F. Legislation <br />On June 4, Communication 774.12 was heard by the Hawaii County Council. It <br />proposed to change the operating budget for the Committee on the Status of <br />Women from $0 to $10,000 for next fiscal year. This item was unanimously <br />passed. <br />On July 8, Resolution 680.20 was heard by the Hawaii County Council. It sup- <br />ports and urges equity, inclusion, and social and economic justice principles into <br />COVID-19 related recovery initiatives for Hawaii County. This item was also <br />unanimously passed. <br />Several CSW members provided testimony as community members since the <br />CSW did not have meetings in May and June to be able to discuss these legisla- <br />tive testimony opportunities. <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mihaela moved to adjourn, seconded by Kami. Meeting adjourned at 11:19am.
