§ 24-257 H AWAI‘I C OUNTY C ODE <br />Section 24-257. Schedule 5. 35 mile per hour limit. <br />A speed limit of thirty-five miles per hour is established as set forth in this schedule <br />upon the streets or portions of streets as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />Honoka‘a-Waipi‘o Road, from a point thirty-one thousand nine hundred <br />ninety-eight feet (6.1 miles) northwest of Lehua Street and extending <br />three thousand one hundred forty-two feet in the northwesterly <br />direction. <br />Honoka‘a-Waipi‘o Road, makai side, from a point eight thousand five <br />hundred sixty-three feet (1.6 miles) northwest of Lehua Street and <br />extending one thousand two hundred feet in the northwesterly <br />direction. <br />Honoka‘a-Waipi‘o Road, makai side, from a point eighteen thousand six <br />hundred fifty-five feet (3.5 miles) northwest of Lehua Street and <br />extending five thousand three hundred forty-one feet in the <br />northwesterly direction. <br />Honoka‘a-Waipi‘o Road, makai side, from a point thirty-nine thousand <br />eight hundred thirty-eight feet (7.5 miles) northwest of Lehua Street <br />and extending to the intersection of Waipi‘o Valley Road. <br />Honoka‘a-Waipi‘o Road, mauka side, from a point five thousand nine <br />hundred fifteen feet (1.1 miles) east of Waipi‘o Valley Road and <br />extending three thousand nine feet in the southeasterly direction. <br />Honoka‘a-Waipi‘o Road, mauka side, from a point seventeen thousand <br />three hundred eighteen feet (3.3 miles) southeast of Waipi‘o Valley <br />Road and extending five thousand ninety-seven feet in the <br />southeasterly direction. <br />Honoka‘a-Waipi‘o Road, mauka side, from a point thirty-one thousand <br />five hundred seventy-three feet (6.0 miles) southeast of Waipi‘o Valley <br />Road and extending one thousand two hundred ten feet in the <br />southeasterly direction. <br />(b) North Hilo <br />(c) South Hilo <br />Ainako Avenue. <br /> <br /> <br />Chin Chuck Road, Hawai‘i Belt Road to a point 1.6 miles west. <br />Haihai Street. <br />‘Iwalani Street, between Kawailani Street and Puainako Street. <br />Kaiwiki Road, beginning at the Old Hawai‘i Belt Road and extending a <br />distance of 0.6 mile in the mauka direction. <br />SUPP. 16 (7-2024) <br />24A-12 <br /> <br />
