CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: August 29, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />Uri IT -3 FINVITITTANTA <br />Radio Frequency: Every Hour <br />Update #: 1 <br />This is a COVID-19 informational update for Saturday afternoon, August 29tH <br />On testing today, reports from the Prince Kuhio site in Hilo showed a very good turn -out <br />with people waiting very courteously and patiently in line. Due to the number of people <br />in line, the closing time has been extended from 1:00 pm `til 3:00 pm. The closing time <br />for the Waikoloa site will stand at 1:00 this afternoon. <br />Thank you all for participating as the program of testing is to identify positive cases as <br />early as possible and in this way help stop the spread of the virus. <br />We need your help in following the prevention policies of face coverings, distancing and <br />gatherings. The Hawaii Police Department will be increasing their patrols and <br />enforcement of the preventive policies of wearing face coverings, distancing and <br />gatherings. The situation in Hilo is a serious one and we all need to do our part to keep <br />Hawaii safe.
