Hawaii County also utilized the public hearings to inform the public about the upcoming 2020-2024 <br />Consolidated Plan process. Attendees were provided with surveys to gather information regarding the <br />needs of our communities. This information will be utilized to develop the needs, priorities and goals of <br />the upcoming 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan. <br />The draft 2019 Action Plan was available for public review and comment from February 25, 2019 <br />through March 26, 2019. <br />Public and Private Agencies Consultation Meetings: <br />As stated above, in September 2018, the County conducted Public Hearings island -wide to inform the <br />public about the 2019 CDBG and 2018 HOME CHDO application process. Members of the public were <br />provided with information on the CDBG and HOME CHDO programs. An overview of the draft priorities <br />and goals were also presented. The participants were asked to provide input on the county's draft <br />priorities and goals established as a result of community input at the various public hearings. In <br />addition to these consultations, the OHCD also informed each Council Member representing all districts <br />in the County of Hawaii of the CP process and inquired if they had any projects that would meet the <br />draft priorities within their district. <br />S. Summary of public comments <br />This could be a brief narrative summary or reference an attached document from the Citizen <br />Participation section of the Con Plan. <br />Public comments on the draft 2019 Action Plan was received throughout the 30 -day Public Comment <br />Period. The draft 2019 Action Plan was available for public view and comments from February 25, 2019 <br />through March 26, 2019, No comments to the 2019 Annual Action Plan were received. <br />6.
