TMK: 1-6-143:034 <br />LICENSE APPLIED FOR: Original Restaurant General liquor license, <br />Category A <br />Yasuhiro Muramatsu, General Manager, was present. <br />Onizuka: Can you introduce yourself and your relationship to the business, please? <br />Muramatsu: Yes, my name is Yasuhiro Muramatsu. I'm the General Manager of <br />Dragon Roll LLC. I used to run Shimaichi and Tunaichi in Kailua-Kona and also <br />Ebisuya in downtown Hilo. This is our fourth location. We took over the business from <br />(it used to be) a Chinese restaurant called Canton Garden Cafe in 2018, and we (turned <br />it into) a sushi restaurant. We've been up and running for a little more than one year <br />now. <br />Onizuka: Thank you. Are there any changes to the report that was filed with your <br />application? <br />Muramatsu: No, sir. <br />Onizuka: You've briefly described your business already. Mr. Director, any report of <br />protests? <br />Takase: Mr. Chairman, the Applicant mailed 2 out of 2 notices within 100 feet, and 22 <br />out of 22 notices within 500 feet. There were 14 properties entitled to protest, and there <br />were no protests to this application. <br />Onizuka: Thank you. Do we have any public testimony on this application? <br />There was no public testimony. <br />Onizuka: Seeing none, Commissioners, any discussion or questions? <br />There was no discussion or questions from the Commissioners. <br />Raymond: Move to close the public hearing. <br />Greenwell: Second. <br />Ms. Raymond moved to close the public hearing; seconded by <br />Mr. Greenwell. <br />Onizuka: Moved and seconded to close the public hearing.
