<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: October 2, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE Time: 2:00 PM <br />Radio Frequency: Every Hour <br /> Update #: 1 <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />nd <br />This is a COVID-19 testing update for Friday afternoon, October 2. <br />There will be Covid testing Saturday in North Kona at the West Hawaii Civic Center from 9 in <br />the morning ‘til 1 in the afternoon. Remember, the purpose of testing is to identify positive <br />cases as early as possible and in this way provide early treatment and to help stop the spread <br />of the virus. <br />Be advised that county and state beaches are now open and we must remember to practice the <br />preventive policies of face coverings, distancing and gatherings. For your information, the <br />gathering size for groups is limited to 10 or fewer people. Know that these policies are <br />mandated and will be enforced. We need everyone to follow these policies in order to keep our <br />friends, family and community safe.
