CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY Date: October 2, 2020 <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus Update <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />Time: 1:00 PM <br />Radio Frequency: Every Hour <br />Update #: 2 <br />This is a COVID-19 testing update for Friday afternoon, October 2nd <br />There will be Covid testing Saturday in North Kona at the West Hawaii Civic Center <br />from 9 in the morning `til 1 in the afternoon. Remember, the purpose of testing is to <br />identify positive cases as early as possible and in this way provide early treatment and <br />to help stop the spread of the virus. <br />Be advised that county and state beaches are now open and we must remember to <br />practice the preventive policies of face coverings, distancing and gatherings. For your <br />information, the gathering size for groups is limited to 10 or fewer people. Know that <br />these policies are mandated and will be enforced. We need everyone to follow these <br />policies in order to keep our friends, family and community safe.
