EXECUTIVE SESSION (Closed to the public.) <br />Commissioner Henkel motioned to meet in executive session to discuss personnel <br />matters (Fire Chief Selection Process) and to consult with Corporation Counsel on <br />questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, <br />immunities, and liabilities. Commissioner Yawata seconded, and it carried <br />unanimously. Executive session convened at 11:14 a.m. <br />Regular session reconvened at 12:19 p.m. (Open to the public.) <br />7. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Chair Yamada announced that the commission's next monthly meeting is scheduled <br />for March 11, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., in the Aupuni Center Conference Room, 101 Pauahi <br />St., Hilo, Hawaii. <br />8.
