Kamanu Street(Road 3A - Kona CDP) from University Drive <br /> (Road 2)to Kaiminani Drive: <br /> The applicant shall construct the mauka half-section of a 120-foot <br /> wide right-of-way to CountYHdedicable standards as a two-lane <br /> road. The applicant shall construct the intersection at Ka`iminani <br /> Drive meeting with the approval of the Department of Public <br /> Works. The intersection shall include a left-turn lane on <br /> Ka`iminani Drive. The intersections at the northern and southern <br /> end of this road shall have illumination. This road shall also be <br /> provided with a utility trench suitable for installation of future <br /> street lights by the Department of Public Works or the State <br /> Department of Transportation when such illumination is <br /> determined to be necessary. The construction of this roadway shall <br /> be completed simultaneous to the opening of the first building on <br /> the State land for the University of Hawaii or before July 31, <br /> 2012, whichever occurs first. Further,traffic signals shall be <br /> installed at the intersection of Ka`iminani Drive and Ane <br /> Keohokalole Highway prior to the issuance of building permits for <br /> more than five hundred(500) single-family residential lots and/or <br /> multiple-family residential units, and prior to the issuance of an <br /> occupancy permit for more than thirfv thousand (30,000) square <br /> feet of commercial area and more than sixty(60)hotel units; or <br /> whenever the Department of Public Works reasonably determines <br /> it is warranted. <br /> Amended Condition V3: <br /> V.
