<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING <br />KAILUA VILLAGE DESIGN COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a meeting to be held by the Kailua Village Design <br />Commission of the County of Hawai‘i in accordance with the provision of Section 92-7, <br />Hawai‘i Revised Statutes. <br />Based on the Mayor' s Proclamation regarding COVID- 19, these meetings will be online <br />until further notice. This is to prevent the spread of COVID- 19 and to maintain social <br />distancing. <br /> <br />DATE: December 8, 2020 <br />TIME: 5:15 PM <br />PLACE: Live Stream Meeting- The public will be able to view and listen to the <br />meeting. The applicant, Anna White, of Papa Kona Coffee and Events LLC, is proposing non- <br />structural repairs and modifications to the interior and exterior of the Papa Kona <br />restaurant located at Waterfront Row on Alii Drive. The exterior changes for design <br />review include; 1) removing the existing wood casing (cladding) and exposing <br />existing structure and glass, and replacing the bi-fold doors with double swing doors, <br />that face the outside seating area on the main floor, and; 2) painting the gypsum <br />Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
