WHEREAS, on April 1, 2020, the Mayor of the County of Hawaii issued the Third <br />Supplementary Emergency Proclamation issuing further orders for response to COVID-19; and <br />WHEREAS, the Governor of the State of Hawaii has issued 16 Emergency <br />Proclamations related to the Covid-19 Emergency as of November 23, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the County of Hawaii has issued, relative to COVID-19, three <br />prior Emergency Proclamations, 12 Emergency Rules and five Amendments to those Rules as of <br />November 23, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, the number of persons being infected by COVID-19 globally and in the <br />United States, the State of Hawaii and the County of Hawaii continue to perpetuate and <br />increase at alarming rates; and <br />WHEREAS, due to the possibility of imminent emergency or disaster due to bodily <br />injury to residents of Hawaii Island, and the need for government agencies and representatives <br />from the private sector to mobilize and provide financial and other immediate services to our <br />island residents, a state of emergency is authorized pursuant to Chapter 127A Hawaii Revised <br />Statutes, and Chapter 7, Hawaii County Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, HARRY KIM, Mayor of the County of Hawaii, do hereby <br />proclaim and declare that a state of emergency continues to exist due to the imminent danger or <br />threat of emergency on the Hawaii Island from the COVID-19 pandemic. <br />This Fourth Supplementary Emergency Proclamation is effective immediately and shall <br />continue through December 31, 2020 or until further act by this office. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have herevo set my �hpd and caused the Seal of the <br />County of Hawaii to be affixed.
