<br />Onizuka: 5. Par Hawaii, LLC, dba NOMNOM EXPRESS (Kaumana), dba NOMNOM
<br />EXPRESS (Honoka`a), approval to extend the time issuance, for good cause shown,
<br />of its approved Retail General liquor licenses, located at 370 Kaumana Drive, Hilo, Hawaii,
<br />and 45-3533 Mamane Street, Honoka'a, Hawaii, respectively, for an additional six months,
<br />from November 7, 2020, to and including May 7, 2021, by letter dated September 29, 2020.
<br />Passage requires finding of good cause pursuant to Rule 4-2-M, of the Hawaii County
<br />Liquor Commission Rules and Regulations. If the Commission finds good cause, please
<br />state what that good cause reason is when making the motion.
<br />Onizuka: Administrative Officer, do we have an explanation for this request?
<br />Gonzalez: Mr. Chair, yes, by letter dated September 29, 2020, the Licensee notifies
<br />us that there's been a delay in getting some equipment to refrigerate inventory and
<br />to address certain storage issues. They had unforeseen design changes and further
<br />complications because of the COVID-19 pandemic that delayed delivery of equipment
<br />and modification of plans. These items were out of their control.
<br />Onizuka: Thank you. Call for a motion for Item No. 5.
<br />Greenwell: Mr. Chair, I'll make the motion to approve with the understanding that there are
<br />equipment and delivery problems that are out of their control to complete the project.

<br />Mr. Greenwell moved to approve the request submitted
<br />by Par Hawaii, LLC, dba NOMNOM EXPRESS (Kaumana),
<br />dba NOMNOM EXPRESS (Honoka`a), to extend the time
<br />issuance, for good cause shown, of its approved Retail
<br />General liquor licenses, located at 370 Kaumana Drive,
<br />Hilo, Hawaii, and 45-3533 Mamane Street, Honoka`a,
<br />Hawaii, respectively, for an additional six months, from
<br />November 7, 2020, to and including May 7, 2021, by letter
<br />dated September 29, 2020; seconded by Mr. Arakaki.
