2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: September 22, 2020 meeting <br />FINANCIAL REPORT: <br />4. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS: <br />- Statements from the public will be taken throughout the meeting. <br />5. PRESENTATION: <br />a. Jackson Bauer, Na Ala Hele Trails and Access specialist will share on the Palila <br />Forest Discovery Trail in the Kaohe Game Management Area, and safety <br />concerns. <br />b. Troy Sakihara, Aquatic Biologist Division of Aquatic Resources, DLNR, and <br />Edwin Shishido, Conservation and Resources Enforcement Officer, will provide <br />an update on the prawn, stream poisoning investigation report. <br />c. Ian Cole, East Hawaii Wildlife Biologist for DOFAW will discuss and take <br />questions for potential proposed rule changes, and remind hunters to check in <br />and fill out forms at check in stations for DOFAW data. <br />d. Godfrey Akaka, President of The Native Hawaiian Gathering Rights Association, <br />hunter, fisherman, gatherer from Molokai will speak on the importance of the <br />cultural gathering way of life, from the Hawaiian point of view. <br />e. Nicolai Barca, the new State GMAC representative for Kauai, hunter, fisherman, <br />and conservationist, will speak on the environmental benefits of scientific game <br />management <br />6. OLD BUSINESS: <br />a. Report on the response of Chair Suzanne Case, DLNR to our advisory letters. <br />7. NEW BUSINESS: <br />a. Discuss legislative strategy for the 2021 legislative session. <br />b. Debate the GMAC position on the closer of Waipio to pedestrians. <br />8. COMMISSIONERS REPORT BY DISTRICT: <br />9. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />10.
