(convenience centers) or would typically not fit in transfer station (convenience center) chutes <br />or solid waste transport trailers. <br />"Business" means any commercial enterprise or establishment, including sole <br />proprietorships, joint ventures, partnerships and corporations, or any other legal entity, and <br />includes independent contractors associated with the business. <br />"CFR" means Code of Federal Regulations. <br />"Commercial cooking oil waste" means cooking oil which, because of prior use, potency <br />loss, or contamination, is no longer usable or salable by a business engaged in cooking food or <br />selling cooking oil. The term does not mean the residue remaining after the conversion of <br />commercial cooking oil waste into a marketable product. <br />"Commercial FOG waste" means animal/vegetable fat, oil and grease and other waste <br />that is retained in or removed from a commercial pretreatment device. The term does not <br />mean the residue remaining after the conversion of commercial FOG waste into a marketable <br />product of grease and other waste removed from a commercial pretreatment device. <br />"Commercial hauler" means a transporter of solid waste made up of commercial, <br />residential or industrial solid waste. <br />"Commercial solid waste" means all types of solid waste generated from commercial <br />activities including, but not limited to, stores, offices, restaurants, warehouses, and non - <br />manufacturing activities, excluding residential and industrial wastes. <br />"Commission" means the Environmental Management Commission. <br />"Compost" means the result of microorganisms decomposing organics through the <br />process of aerobic biodegradation, commonly used as a soil amendment. <br />"Compostable" means all materials in the product or package will break down, or <br />otherwise become part of usable compost (e.g., soil -conditioning material, mulch) in a <br />municipal or industrial composting facility. Compostable disposable food service ware includes <br />ASTM-standard paper/fiber and bio-plastics (plastic -like) products that are clearly labeled either <br />on individual food service ware or packaging for food service ware so that any compost <br />collector and processor can easily distinguish the ASTM-standard compostable material from <br />non-ASTM standard compostable material. Required certification of compostable food service <br />ware shall be done by independent third -party organization Biodegradable Products Institute <br />(BPI) or similar ASTM recognized certifier. <br />"Construction and demolition waste" means material such as metals, wood, gypsum, <br />asphalt shingles, roofing, concrete, rocks, rubble, soil and glass or similar materials. <br />s <br />
