<br />RULE NO. 11 <br />PETITIONS <br />1. Any person may petition the Council. Petitions shall be in writing, signed by the <br />petitioners. <br />2. All petitions and other papers addressed to the Council shall be presented by the <br />Chairperson or by a Council Member, and shall be endorsed by the person presenting it. <br />The petition or other papers shall be made part of the official records kept by the County <br />Clerk, provided that all documents so received shall be referred to Committee as <br />appropriate. <br />3. A brief statement of the contents of any petition or other papers shall be made verbally by <br />the one presenting the same. <br />11-1 <br /> <br />
