The subject property is located south of the Puainako Street Extension, west of <br /> Komohana Street at Hilo Hillside Estates Subdivision at Kukuau 1st, South Hilo, Hawaii, <br /> TMK: 2-4-082:001-056, 058-061 (formerly 2-4-008: portions of 014 and 026). <br /> This item was withdrawn by the Applicant <br /> 2. INITIATOR: PLANNING DIRECTOR <br /> An ordinance amending Chapter 25 (Zoning Code), Article 1, Article 2, Article 4, Article <br /> 5, and Article 7 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), relating to <br /> definitions, use permit requirements, off-street parking requirements, and zoning district <br /> regulations for medical clinics and massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, and other similar <br /> health service facilities. <br /> The Commission took this item up at 9:15 a.m. with no members of the public live streaming the <br /> meeting. <br /> Action: It was moved by Commissioner Au and seconded by Commissioner Replogle that a <br /> favorable recommendation be forwarded to the County Council on the Ordinance amending <br /> Hawaii County Code, Chapter 25 based on the Planning Director's recommendation, which was <br /> adopted. A roll call vote was taken, and the motion carried with five ayes (Replogle, Aguinaldo, <br /> Au, Clarkson, Raffipiy) and no noes. <br /> This item ended at 9:39 a.m. <br /> (SEE HEARING TRANSCRIPT - EXHIBIT A) <br /> MINUTES —The Commission took this item up at 9:39 a.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes of the November 5, 2020 Meeting_—It was moved by Commissioner <br /> Clarkson and seconded by Commissioner Aguinaldo that the Minutes of November 5, 2020, be <br /> approved as circulated. Motion was unanimously carried by a voice vote of all Commissioners <br /> in attendance. <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br /> Prior to conducting the Election of Officers for 2021 and turning over the gavel to the new Chair, <br /> Chair Raffipiy shared some remarks. First, he thanked the Commissioners for working, helping, <br /> and guiding him through the responsibilities as a Chair of the Commission. He indicated our job <br /> has been challenging but at the end we all know its for the best interest of our people and the <br /> community of the windward side of the Big Island. He also thanked them for their sacrifices and <br /> time to volunteer. He also thanked the staff for supporting the Commission in helping, guiding, <br /> and assisting in having them carry out their responsibilities.
