Public Testimony on agenda items: <br /> TL: All right. So moving forward. Anybody have public testimony on our <br /> agenda this evening? Apparently, not, OK, so, um, actually I'd like to call <br /> Jeno, um, [unclear] and, um, Mike Amado, um, Mike is the owner/operator <br /> of a mobile slaughterhouse and they're gonna do a presentation this <br /> evening of some of the aspects of this and how it can benefit ranchers in <br /> this county and what have you. We have a gentleman here from Montana <br /> that has a couple questions for you on that as well, so... OK. <br /> ?: I'm not actually not the owner. <br /> TL: Oh, OK. <br /> ?: I'm the president of Hawaii Island Meat which is the cooperative that is the <br /> owner and operator of [unclear— not speaking in mic] <br /> TL: Got you... <br /> ?: The actual owner of the unit is Big Island Resource Conservation <br /> Development—this council — and they lease it to us and that asset will <br /> over time convert to ownership of the coop itself, but as a publicly funded <br /> project, ah, we have to maintain that relationship with a non-profit and <br /> have this as an asset that's available for public usage. <br /> TL: OK.
