BUSINESS: <br />Election of Action Committee Officers: The Action Committee will nominate and elect a <br />new Chair and Vice -Chair to serve during the 2021 calendar year. Nomination and <br />Election will be facilitated by Planning Staff. <br />2. Update on Waimea Trails & Greenways: Long Range Planner, Natasha Soriano, will <br />provide an update on the status of the Ke Ala Kahawai o Waimea project. <br />Waikoloa Intersection and Second Access Road Investigatory Subcommittee Report: <br />Planning Staff will provide the Action Committee with a brief update on the subject <br />intersection related to Department of Public Works' contract list. After the update, the <br />AC will take action relative to the Investigatory Subcommittee's final report consisting of <br />Communication 2019 —4, 10, and 14. Action Committee discussion may lead to <br />subsequent actions or the close of the Investigatory Subcommittee. <br />4. Action Committee Member Initiatives and Network Maps: Long -Range Planner, <br />Kamuela Plunkett, to present results of the network mapping exercise based on <br />community connections of individual Action Committee members. This network <br />mapping exercise aims to visualize the potential for community action based on the <br />community connectivity represented by the collective SKCDP Action Committee. The <br />Action Committee will discuss and provide feedback on the information presented. <br />Based on the collective areas of interest and correlation with the SKCDP, the Action <br />Committee may consider establishing investigatory subcommittees relative to specific <br />initiatives that advances CDP implementation. <br />AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Agenda item suggestions from the Action Committee and <br />Planning Staff for the next quarterly meeting. <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: The Action Committee will consider the draft minutes for the <br />June 18, 2019, and December 16, 2020, meetings. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />This agenda and all related documents are available for viewing and download via the South <br />Kohala CDP website: https://www.hawaiicountycdp.info/south-kohala-cdp/meetings/2020- <br />meetings.
