Reviewing a redistricting plan <br />Sharing a redistricting plan <br />In establishing the boundares of the districts, the Hawai'i Reappo-tionment Commission <br />Submitting a redistricting plan <br />will give consideration to tl-e following factors: (a) population deviations from ideal <br />Frequently asked questions about Hawai <br />district targets (b) cohesiveness, contiguity, integrity, and compactness of territory, <br />and (c) socio-economic interests of the districts. <br />Plans submitted by Advisory Councils or the public prior to July 26, 2011 will be <br />reviewed by the Commission before their proposed plan is published. There will still be <br />time for the Commission to receive and review additional plans while the proposed plan <br />is being reviewed in the public hearing phase. Plans submitted by Advisory Councils or <br />the public on or after July 26, 2011 and prior to the last public hearing date (no later <br />than September 16, 2011), will be reviewed by the Commission before the final plan is <br />published. <br />More information can be found on the Learn tab once you login.
