G ENERAL W ELFARE §14-69 <br />Section 14-69. Application for approval. <br />(a) Any area coordinator wishing to have a neighborhood watch sign placed in the <br />person’s neighborhood shall submit an application to the chief of police. The area <br />coordinator shall fill out the current application form provided by the police <br />department. <br />(b) No application for the construction and installation of signs shall be approved by <br />the chief of police unless the neighborhood watch is determined by the chief of <br />police to be in compliance with the policies of the police department. <br />(1987, ord 87-118, sec 1; am 2015, ord 15-70, sec 4.) 14-69 <br />Section 14-70. Rules. <br />The chief of police is authorized to adopt rules pursuant to chapter 91, Hawai‘i <br />Revised Statutes, as are necessary to implement, administer, and enforce the provisions <br />of this article. <br />(1987, ord 87-118, sec 1.) 14-70 <br />Article 12. Official Bulletin Board. <br />Section 14-71. Official bulletin board established; purpose. <br />There shall be an official bulletin board of the Hawai‘i County building for the <br />posting of council and committee agendas and public notices of meetings of the County <br />of Hawai‘i. Official bulletin board location. <br />The official bulletin board of the Hawai‘i County building at 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, <br />Hawai‘i shall be located within the exterior covered walkway of the Hawai‘i County <br />building, immediately adjacent to its main entrance and shall be conspicuously <br />displayed and identified by the words “public notices” appearing thereon. <br />(1994, ord 94-43, sec 1; am 2006, ord 06-140, sec 2; am 2009, ord 09-148, sec 3.) 14-72 <br />Section 14-73.
