II.2021SUGGESTIONFORMS:(Motion passed) <br />(Motion to accept and file Sugg. 21-001 to Sugg. 21-027, the 2021 Suggestion Forms <br />received by the deadline date of February 26, 2021, all on the Island of Hawai`i). <br /> <br />Motion: MS. WARD moved to accept and file Sugg. 21-001 to 027. The motion was <br />seconded by MR. LEE. There being no discussion, CHR. FRANK called for a verbal or <br />raising of hands vote. All members present voted aye, motion passed. <br /> <br />III. REVIEW AND DISCUSS 2021 SUGGESTION FORMS: <br />A brief discussion was held to hear the nominators and ask questions afterwards. The <br />commission agreed that they will proceed in this manner. <br /> <br />The commission heard from each nominator and held a brief discussion regarding their <br />suggestions. <br /> <br />CHR. FRANK called for a lunch break 12:55 pm. and called the meeting back to order at <br />1:36 pm. all were present except for MR. WARSHAUER. CHR. Frank presented the <br />agenda and items out of order. <br /> <br />IV. WRITTEN/PUBLIC TESTIMONIES FROM THE PUBLIC: (Motion passed) <br />(Motion to accept and file Comm. 21-002 - 007 from the public.) <br /> <br />Motion: MS. PAIK MANDER moved to accept and file Comm. 21-002 - 007. The motion <br />was seconded by MS. NAUNGAYAN. There being no discussion, CHR. FRANK called for <br />a verbal or raising of hands vote. Eight members present voted aye, one member <br />excused, motion passed. <br /> <br /> CHR. FRANK notes Mr. Warshauer now present. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />A. Form an “Annual Report to the Mayor Ad Hoc Committee,” select members, scope of <br />purpose, and reporting deadline. (Motion passed) <br /> <br />The commission formed seven Ad Hoc Site Visit Committees (AHSVC), scope of <br />purpose, and reporting deadline of April 23, 2021. The seven AHSVC are: <br /> <br />AHSVC No. 1. Sugg. 21-002, Holualoa Forest; Sugg. 21-019, Kona Cloud Forest; <br />Sugg. 21-023, Kaloko Trail. Members are Mr. Lee, Ms. Meheula, Ms. Paik Mander, <br />Mr. Warshauer, with Ms. Ward as alternate. <br /> <br />AHSVC No. 2. Sugg. 21-020, Kaupakuea Shoreline; Sugg. 21-021, Ka’ili Shoreline; <br />and Sugg. 21-Members are Ms. <br />Ward, Ms. Meheula, Ms. Paik Mander, Mr. Warshauer, with Mr. Lee as alternate. <br />APPROVED PONC MINUTES MAR. 5, 2021 <br />County of Hawai’i is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Provider. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />
