Hawai'i Fire Commission <br />Meeting Agenda <br />June 9, 2021 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />• Robert Perreira's appeal to Merit Appeals Board concerning the selection of the fire <br />chief. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED SESSION) <br />The commission anticipates convening an executive session regarding the above <br />matter, pursuant to Hawai'i Revised Statutes Sections 92-4, 92-5 (a) (2) and 92-5 (a) <br />(4), where the consideration of matters affecting privacy will be involved and for the <br />purpose of consulting with the commission's attorney on questions and issues <br />pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. An <br />affirmative 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive <br />meeting. <br /> <br />(OPEN SESSION) <br />AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />• The commission's next monthly meeting is scheduled for July 14, 2021, in the Office <br />of Aging Conference Room, 1055 Kino'ole St., Hilo, Hawai'i. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Notice <br />This meeting place is accessible for persons with disabilities.
