zoo 1 Pualu Award for Culture &Heritage <br />Royal Footsteps Along tete Kona Coast was acknowledged by <br />the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce with the Chamber's 2011 <br />Pualu Award for Culture & Heritage. <br />The Culture & Heritage award is given to honor an individual or <br />organization whose practices promote island traditions and <br />preserves Hawai'i's multicultural heritage. <br />Since 1979, the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce has recognized <br />outstanding individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations in <br />West Hawaii through this award for their dedication and hard work in <br />the community. <br />The Pualu Awards (literally meaning to work together) recognizes <br />recipients for their outstanding commitment to the community. <br />"Royal Footsteps Along the Kona Coast is a collaborative effort <br />between the community, business and government," said Kailua <br />Village Business Improvement District President Eric von Platen <br />Luder.
