The FHWA requirements for a Corridor <br />Management Plan are: <br />1. A map identifying the corridor boundaries, <br />location, intrinsic qualities, and land uses in the <br />corridor. <br />2. An assessment of the intrinsic qualities and <br />their "context" (the areas surrounding them). <br />3. A strategy for maintaining and enhancing each <br />of those intrinsic qualities. <br />4. The agencies, groups, and individuals who are <br />part of the team that will carry out the plan, <br />including a list of their specific, individual <br />responsibilities. Also, a schedule of when and <br />how you'll review the degree to which those <br />responsibilities are being met. <br />Royal Footsteps Along the Kona Coast <br />Addresses these Issues in the following <br />sections of the CMP: <br />Corridor maps are found at: Page ii; Chapter 3, <br />Page 37; Chapter 5, Page 96; Chapter 6, Page 121; <br />Chapter 6, Page 126 (Land Use Map;) Aerial <br />image of the entire corridor length are at: <br />Chapter 1, Page 6. <br />Chapter 2 describes general historical context <br />along the corridor; Chapter 3 describes various <br />points of interest along the corridor and the <br />intrinsic qualities of these selected sites. <br />Chapter 7 describes the management measures <br />to maintain and enhance the intrinsic qualities; <br />Appendix E is a draft Interim Preservation Plan <br />Page ix lists the Scenic Byway Committee <br />members; Chapter 4, Pages 93 & 94 list <br />governmental agency involvement; Chapter 7, <br />Page 137 lists entities with jurisdiction over the <br />sites; Chapter 7, Pages 140 - 145 lists <br />contemplated actions, jurisdiction and <br />timeframe; Chapter 7, Page 146 - 149 identifies <br />specific actions recommended by the Local <br />Byway Committee <br />5.
