BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Election of Action Committee Officers: The Action Committee (AC) will nominate and <br /> elect a Vice-Chair to serve during the 2021 calendar year. Nomination and Election will <br /> be facilitated by Planning Staff. <br /> 2. Action Committee Member Initiatives and Network Maps: Planning staff will share the <br /> results of the network mapping exercise based on community connections of individual <br /> Action Committee members. This network mapping exercise aims to visualize the <br /> potential for community action based on the community connectivity represented by <br /> the collective HCDP Action Committee. The Action Committee will discuss and provide <br /> feedback on the information presented. Based on the collective areas of interest and <br /> correlation with the HCDP, the Action Committee may consider establishing <br /> investigatory subcommittees relative to specific initiatives that advances CDP <br /> implementation. <br /> 3. Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Recommendations: Councilmember Kimball will <br /> facilitate conversation with the AC relative to CIP budget recommendations for FY2021- <br /> 2022. <br /> 4. Opportunities to Advance CDP Implementation: Councilmember Kimball will facilitate <br /> conversation around grassroots initiatives that will help advance Hamakua CDP <br /> implementation. Based on member interest, the Action Committee may consider <br /> establishing an investigatory subcommittee. <br /> 5. Updates from Action Committee Members: Chair Kurokawa will provide an update on <br /> the status of Ka'ahakini Working Group and open the floor for other Action Committee <br /> members to provide updates on their work relative to CDP implementation. <br /> AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Agenda item suggestions from the Action Committee and <br /> Planning Staff for the next quarterly meeting. <br /> APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:The Action Committee will consider the draft minutes for the <br /> December 15, 2020 and December 16, 2020, meetings. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> This agenda and all related documents are available for viewing and download via the Hamakua <br /> CDP website: https://www.hawaiicountycdp.info/hamakua-cdp/meeting-records-and- <br /> information/2021-meetings. A person desiring to submit oral or written <br /> testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a <br /> representative of an organization or individual.
