We work with brands that are already sustainable and looking to continue <br />advancing, or brands with no sustainable efforts and looking for an overhaul and <br />rebrand. <br />Our state as a whole has a serious trash problem- simply because we have infinite <br />space and are extremely isolated. While Oahu has incineration, the other islands do not <br />and their landfills are quickly filling. Legislation like this and compost initiatives can <br />decrease our overall waste generation and slow the speed at which the landfills fill. <br />Eventually, we will run out of space and will need a solution, so we should not let it get <br />to that point. <br />While I think this is an extremely complex issue and will require a lot of thought and <br />specification, I think it's a huge step in the right direction. <br /> <br />Mahalo for your time, <br />Alexandra Kahn <br />Take Flight, An Environmental Marketing Agency <br /> <br /> <br />
