Voting <br />As discussed during the March 1, 2021 Commission meeting, I offer the following language for <br />consideration by the Commission: <br />VI. VOTING <br />c. Kanalua. No member shall refrain from voting unless excused by the Chairperson or is <br />otherwise excluded by law. Members are to vote YES or NO or optionally <br />exercise the principle of kanalua. That is, when requested for their vote, a <br />member may state "kanalua" which provides for passing on a response at that <br />time. Once all members have been asked to vote, the chair returns to the <br />members having stated "kanalua".
