Veterans Advisory Committee <br />Minutes May 25, 2021 <br />Page 18 <br />Chair Doolittle: Well, we really would like advocate is that, more of the community tune <br />in to our meetings and participate if they have something to add. Whether you have <br />something to add or not. It is a public meeting, and we advocate for our community to <br />participate if they so choose. <br />Soares: Absolutely, I'm happy to help, just let me know. <br />Lewis: We thank the organizers for the meeting and all the input. Brittany, Michelle, <br />Pomai. <br />Deputy Hiraishi: That was Brittany, she's just stepping out. <br />Chair Doolittle: The County has always been awesome to this committee. <br />Deputy Hiraishi: Aw, thank you. I'll definitely pass it on. <br />Chair Doolittle: It's been a wonderful experience to be on this committee for me. If we <br />don't have anything else to add, do we have a motion to adjourn? Oh no, we need to <br />make sure everyone knows the next meeting is on August 24 at 1:30. And we're going to <br />have that meeting on June 22 to discuss this initiative to recalibrate the membership and <br />affiliations.
