• <br />the academic school year. <br />Public Health and Safety: <br />Project Vision to hire outreach workers, mobile manager, equipment purchase, vehicle maintenance and <br />necessary supplies to operate its mobile hygiene unit that provides hot private showers at various <br />County locations and connects homeless people with services and resources such as vision and health <br />screenings, referrals for various forms of assistance and basic necessities such as dental supplies, hair <br />care products, water bottles and first aid supplies. provide a mobile unit for showers and hygiene care to <br />homeless residents.Hope Services Hawaii, to assist and service low and moderate income households <br />who have been impacted by Covid-19 for emergency rent or mortgage payment assistance. Eligible <br />applicants must be impacted by Covid-19, household income limits below 80% and cannot be receiving <br />other federal housing subsidies. Assistance will be capped at $2,000 per household. <br />Progress the jurisdiction: <br />FAIR HOUSING: In PY2020, the OHCD conducted a total of 7 Fair Housing training/seminar sessions for <br />property managers, homeless programs and for the general public. The OHCD's website has continued <br />to be successful in increasing awareness of housing rights and resources. In PY2020, there were 2,464 <br />hits to the website for people seeking information. The County's Fair Housing officer participated in 5 <br />meetings with other Fair Housing officers. <br />Reprogram: <br />In 2020, the County reprogrammed a total of $300,852.48 of funding to/from various program years. <br />$197,419.87 was reprogrammed from 2016 Pahala Fire Station Fire Pumper, 2020 Residential Repair <br />Loan Program, 2020 Hale Maluhia Selter Accessibility Improvements, and the 2020 additional allocation <br />to the 2020 Kiheipua Emergency Shelter Certified Kitchen as requested by the non-profit Hope Services <br />to complete the project. $4,930.10 was reprogrammed from the unused funds from the 2019 West <br />Hawaii Domestic Abuse Shelter Renovations project to the 2019 Hale Ohana Domestic Abuse Shelter <br />Renovations project as requested by the non-profit CFS Real Property to cover project deficits. <br />$98,502.51 of the canceled 2020 Kaiaulu 0 Waikoloa Rental Housing Off Site Infrastructure <br />Improvement Project balance was reprogrammed to the 2018 Hale Maluhia Roof and ADA <br />Improvements Project, 2020 Hale Maluhia Emergency Shelter Accessibility Improvement Project, 2018 <br />Kiheipua Family Shelter Roof and Kitchen Renovations, and 2020 Kiheipua Family Shelter Certified <br />Kitchen Project. <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />CAPER <br />7 <br />
