HCHA meeting <br />March 2, 2021 <br />testifiers so I am closing the Public Testimony at this time. And in order to <br />facilitate this meeting going forward, I would like to bypass the approval of the <br />minutes and go straight to the New Business if that's okay? First item of new <br />business is Appointment of a Chair. <br />Lee Loy: Sure, Ms. Director. <br />Kunz: Yes. <br />Lee Loy: I would like to open a nomination for the director of the Chair of the <br />Housing Committee. <br />Kunz: Great. May I please have a motion. <br />Lee Loy: That was the motion. <br />Kunz: That was the motion, okay. <br />Richards: Second. <br />Kunz: Tim Richards second. <br />Lee Loy: Ms. Director? <br />Kunz: Yes. <br />Lee Loy: I'll like to nominate Ashley Kierkiewicz as the Chair for our Housing <br />Agency, Committee, I'm sorry. <br />Richards: Second. <br />Kunz: Do I ask for any more nominations at this time? Ok, hearing none, is there <br />any discussion? <br />Lee Loy: Chair, if I could close the nominations and then we can precede on to <br />the vote. <br />Kunz: Okay, great. All in favor of approving Ashley Kierkiewicz as the Chair of <br />the Hawai `i County Housing Agency, please say aye. Those not in favor say no. <br />Do I need to do that? Okay, so there are eight aye votes, one absent. So I will <br />turn the meeting over to the Chair. <br />Kierkiewicz: Thank you Administrator Kunz.
