The Commission may establish a permitted interaction group, pursuant to the <br />procedures established in Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §92-2.5(b)(1), to investigate and <br />make recommendations related to its responsibility to advise DEM and the Council <br />on waste reduction. The scope of this group’s investigation may include economic <br />and legislative barriers to collection and processing by private recyclers for wastes <br />currently recycled by the County, and other items such as electronic waste, alkaline <br />batteries, photovoltaic panels, plastics, and other recyclables. <br /> <br />6. Rule No. 9-17, relating to trailers prohibited at transfer stations. <br />ii. Reinstatement of residential tipping fee credits (formerly HCC Section 20-46(c)) <br />that were repealed by the current administrative rules and Section 10 of Ordinance <br />5 <br />No. 2020-86. <br />iii. Other rules that EMC may recommend for revision. <br />c. Discussion on the October 19, 2021, presentation to the County Council regarding the <br />6 <br />Wastewater Division. <br /> <br />7.
