There may, however, be short-term noise and air quality impacts
associated with the construction of the infrastructure as well as the
vertical construction. In that event, contractors will be required to
comply with appropriate noise and related mitigation measures of the
State Department of Health.
The proposed development should not generate any direct long-term
air quality impacts. The only discernible air quality impact could be
associated with the vehicular traffic to and from the site. While there
will be an impact to the ambient air quality, the impact should not be
significant. Especially considering higher EPA standards for
automobile air emissions, the air quality impact should be negligible.
With the exception of construction dust associated with the required
infrastructure of any future dwellings, the short and long-term dust
generated by the project should be reasonable. Construction dust,
however, like construction noise will have to comply with the State
Department of Health's regulations.
I.
