II.OFFICEOFTHE MAYOR: <br />Mayor Mitchell Roth addressed the commission and expressed his support for the <br />PONC Program. He asked the commission to organize an Ad Hoc Committee to review <br />past prioritized list of properties and to report its findings. Mayor Roth requested that <br />the review committee place emphasis on preserving culturally significance properties, <br />environmentally friendly, and preserving properties kept in Open Spaces for public use. <br /> <br />After the Mayor Roth answered a few questions and being no further discussions, <br />Chr. Frank moved the next item on the agenda, the Department of Finance Report. <br /> <br />III. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE REPORT: <br />Property Manager Hamana Ventura addressed the commission and gave a brief status <br />report on current projects, on posted resolutions, and the posting of past Ad Hoc Site <br />Visit Reports on a public website. <br />IV. PUBLIC TESTIMONY via WRITTEN COMMUNICATION: (Motion passed) <br /> <br />MOTION: Ms. Naungayan moved to accept the communications with slight correction to <br />Comm. 21-023, Kaloko Trail is in N. Kona, not S. Kona. The motion was seconded by Ms. <br />Kelepolo. There being no further discussion, Chair Frank called for a verbal or raising of <br />hands vote. All members voted; motion passed. <br />Chair Frank noted Mr. Warshauer’s concerns regarding Comm. 21-095, a request to <br />withdraw a suggestion. Chr. Frank ruled that it was to be discussed later and asked that this <br />be put on the agenda for the next PONC meeting. <br />V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: (Motion passed) <br /> <br />MOTION: Mr. Warshauer moved to approve the minutes for May 10, 2021, with <br />grammar corrections. The motion was seconded by Ms. Kelepolo. There being no <br />further discussion, Chr. Frank called for a voice vote or show of hands. All members <br />voted; motion passed. <br />VI. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT: <br />Chr. Frank provided comments and/or information relating to matters of concern to the <br />Commission: to report gifts and gratuity received; follow the OIP Sunshine Law, Roberts <br />Rules of Order; the agenda; Mayor Roth’s request to include the past prioritized lists <br />with the current year’s list; and to send him the report. <br /> <br />There being no further discussion, Chr. Frank took an Agenda item out of order and <br />proceeded with item #3, under unfinished business. <br />VII.
