a. DLNR, ADA and LEP Coordinator Dean Aoki will lead discussion and address the <br />issues and concerns of disabled hunters. <br />b. Dr. J.B. Friday, University of Hawai'i Cooperative Extension will provide <br />information on available grants and tax breaks for private land owners, related to <br />the preservation of native species. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS: <br />a. Update on the County GMAC letter requesting the County Planning Department <br />to pursue the development of the Kaupakuea public access into the Hilo Forest <br />Reserve. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS: <br />a. Open discussion to collect GMAC commissioner ideas for future meeting <br />agendas. <br />7. COMMISSIONERS REPORT BY DISTRICT: <br />8. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />a. Review and consensus on revised 2020 draft GMAC legislative bills and <br />discussion on other carry over and potential new bills. <br />b. Commissioner Mendes will provide an update on shooting range. <br />9. ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />10. ADJOURNMENT: (8:00 pm) Next Meeting: Tuesday, December 14, 2021 <br />Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may <br />convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the <br />agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting <br />with the Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission's <br />powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 213 vote pursuant to HRS <br />Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. <br />Anyone wishing to discuss an item that does not appear on the agenda should call the <br />commission secretary at 323-4444 or email Barbara.
